Residency at the Hong shude ceramics museum, under the direction of Yao Zhang, in Park de Zhangzhou, south of Xiamen (China).
The glazed earthenware pieces produced in Hong shude's workshops - a mourner, a thinker, ghosts, small funerary urns inspired by Creuse tombs (Musée de Guéret), an almost cannibalistic floral kiss - attempt to reconnect with ritual, mourning, matter and intimacy. Each object redefines eternity in its own way. China clay, seized by the hand, becomes a vehicle of memory and transmission: "any material meditated upon is immediately the image of an intimacy", as Bachelard put it.
