Supernova smelled of humus, celebrating the onset of winter. The story was born of a seasonal dialogue between the earth, the autumnal humus carpet of the Parc des Buttes Chaumont, and the sky carried by the lianas embracing the trees. As winter sets in, the ivy vine - Hedera Helix, meaning "the tie" - is active, its fruit ripening. It spirals upwards through the canopy to find water and light in the treetops. Through observations in the Parc des Buttes-Chaumont, and climatic warm-ups, the ball's accomplices traced dynamic figures from line to line, step by step. With the collaboration of the ad-hoc jury: Pascal Lièvre, artist, Emilie Ovaere-Corthay, director of Galerie Jean Fournier, Mathilde Simian, La Petite Escalère) followed by the presentation of prizes by the jury.
Designed and staged by artist Julie Navarro, at the invitation of the Mairie du 19e and Rosa Bonheur. With Zara Popovici, video artist, Pierrick C. Rocher, photographer, Claude Rouanet & Christophe Simonetti, Service de l'Arbre et des Bois, Christophe Vix-Gras, sound designer, and the collaboration of Cami Girard and Léo Woo, students at the École nationale supérieure d'art de Bourges, Bérénice Cassou, Charlotte Jankowski.
