Installation created for CAC 23 in Guéret, with the complicity of the Fondation Caravage, in summer 2022, then reactivated in autumn during the ‘Rencontres de Chaminadour’ around Yannick Haenel on the paths of Georges Bataille and Michel Leiris, Guéret.

The photographic image emanates from an improvised action with a group of women in the Latvian peat bogs, during the residency proposed by Homonovusfestival and COAL at SUMMER LAB #3 as part of the European programme ART, CLIMATE,TRANSITION.
With Zoe Laureen Palmer (UK), Heli Mäkinen (Finland), Una Valaine (Latvia), Ieva Briede (Latvia).

Our pink bodies stretched out on the green earth of the peat bogs resonate with the surrealist eros of Marcel Duchamp's Etant donné. A hymn to the fullest freedom of love, a hymn to connection with the earth, our most intimate home is vertical to our stomachs. Mother Earth bears the watery, nourishing soil of the living surface. Our limbs stretch and unfurl in the wide amniotic pool.

Printed on caravan curtains, the images of the performance float in the window space like a breakthrough to an unreal world, from inside but also from outside the habitat on wheels. They invite the viewer to become a voyeur, like the surrealist work.
