Mirage [Bal Extravadanse]
(2017)La performance MIRAGE lie l’histoire du paysage urbain et de ses artifices baroques à d’autres fictions, illusions et vibrations sensorielles. Sur les traces des romantiques, puis des surréalistes (Le Paysan de Paris, Aragon) les habitants se sont promenés dans la nature inventée. Ils ont dansé pour devenir l’autre. Danser sans pesanteur, danser avec les arbres pour devenir arbre, devenir socle et caillou, devenir paysage.

The MIRAGE performance links the history of the urban landscape and its Baroque artifices with other fictions, illusions and sensory vibrations. Following in the footsteps of the Romantics, then the Surrealists (Le Paysan de Paris, Aragon), local residents stroll through invented nature. They danced to become the other. Dancing without gravity, dancing with the trees to become tree, to become pedestal and pebble, to become landscape.
